BBC Chamber Singers At ABC!
Abingdon Bible Church will be hosting the Baptist Bible College Chamber Singers tomorrow night, May 15 at 7 P.M. They are a top notch vocal ensemble of college students that are on their spring tour. This is a free concert and a great way to help encourage your own heart while encouraging the students who are training to serve the Lord with their gifts. Come on out and show them what a great church body we have here in Abingdon. The Chamber Singers have been a part of BBC musical life since their founding in the 1970s. In addition to their annual spring tours, the group has made extensive mission field tours in the Philippines, Ireland, and Jamaica.

Hit The Trail For Hunger
The Abingdon Area Ministerial Association is sponsoring a 15 mile bike ride on the Creeper Trail to raise awareness of hunger in Washington County and to raise money for the cause. The ride will be held on Saturday, April 17 beginning at 1 P.M. Each cyclist is asked to set a goal of raising $100 for Ecumenical Faith In Action Food Program through sponsorships. Riders will follow the Creeper Trail from Abingdon to Damascus…approximately 15 miles. Every rider registered will receive a free t – shirt. Snacks will be provided during and at the end of the ride.
